Dear colleagues,
Unfortunately, Namibia is a country with a high number of road accidents and, consequently, a high number of (seriously) injured MVA victims. Together with stakeholders from emergency medical care in Namibia (MOHSS, COW, NUST, OSH-MED, MVA Fund) and a Paramedic Academy from Germany (Malteser Bildungszentrum HRS) and the German ITLS Chapter, we will be establishing courses in Namibia in the near future to improve the care of injured victims.
The requirements for participation can be found in the attached information flyer.
So if you are working as a farmer or farm-hand, for a Mining Company, as a volunteer Firefighter, in the Security Business, as a Member of the Armed Forces or Security Agencies, as a First Responder or EMS Professional, contribute your skills and abilities to improve First Aid for trauma victims and/or to deepen your knowledge of extricating (entrapped) victims of traffic accidents, then read the attached flyer and register.
We look forward to you
